JohnJohnJohn Veteran J Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 3,592	the dual boot sounds like a great option if you have some experience with that sort of thing. for me I always assume I'll spend more time messing with getting that to work properly and then waiting around for reboots as I switch from one to the other. let me know if it is easier than I think! currently I have a pretty powerful desktop so I never noticed any slowdown using Reaper for my DAW along with lots of other programs running as well. It's always great to hear how other Band-in-a-Box® users create their songs, especially when they explain in detail what they're doing. His latest video, Next-Level AI Music Editing with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
