There's only so much variety you can get by changing the chords but keeping the guitar tone and basic set of riffs the same. In summary, I like your playing but I'd like to hear an expansion of your style. Maybe an intricately planned intro or ending... maybe a recurring signature passage or identifiable melody... Noel96 Veteran Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 18,966 Australia	Hi Eric, Depending on who's listening, I'd imagine that some people would hear this song as a 3/4 waltz while others hear it as a slow 6/8. For me, I heard it as 6/8 because a "strong weak weak medium weak weak" pulse seemed to be happening. I always find a slow 6/8 lilt very restful to listen to. That was the case here, too. The chord changes you've used really reminded me of Celtic songs (particularly, Irish). Nice! I liked what you have created with this music. All the best, Noel MY SONGS... It's always great to hear how other Band-in-a-Box® users create their songs, especially when they explain in detail what they're doing. His latest video, Next-Level AI Music Editing with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
