I use my lap top when using BIAB. I would like to know how to shout it of when using BIAB> It works off a router.Thanks Ed

I think I might know what this means. Perhaps Sax80 wants to prevent WiFi from running, so as not to affect audio by clicks and pops etc. that can occur when wireless networking is on. This is a common problem, easily diagnosed by DPC Latency Checker.
Sax80, if that is correct, then we would need to know what operating system you use.
Or another approach, if you have control of the router: just unplug it.

Quite a few laptops have a hardware on/off switching routine for the WiFi.
On some, it is a key routine, usually involving the laptop's function key plus one of the other keys, which is usually marked as such in the same different coloration as the fn key.

Ok, and what brand of laptop? Did you try F2 and try looking in your manual for the hot key, or the switch?
Since it is running Vista, I'm assuming your laptop is fairly old. Does it have built-in WiFi, or is it like my laptops of that era, which required an external WiFi adapter via USB?

My HP has a dedicated Wi-Fi function key. (the typical broadcast tower symbol. All too often I hit it when I intend to mute the sound and get dumped off the Net.
