Dear Forum Friends, I’d like to share with you my latest song, “Forget Me Not.” http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=12421056&q=hi&newref=1http://www.soundclick.com/dcspacedog The song is written for and dedicated to my mother and everyone who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. My wife and wrote the song from the perspective of the care provider facing the inevitable loss of a loved one as their memory slowly fades away. The final line is a prayer or wish that no more shall pass this way. It was a tough one to write. As usual, I’m playing the keyboards and singing. Here’s the technical info: Style is ELTON1.STY (Elton 1 - Ev. 8ths Rock) Style MIDI Instruments are : Finger Electric Bass (34), Acoustic Piano (1), Acoustic Guitar (26), Strings (49), RealDrums will be substituted : CountryEven8 RealTracks: Bass 366, Electric Guitar 542, PG Guit 365, Strm guitar 362 Style is ELTON1.STY (Elton 1 - Ev. 8ths Rock) for BiaB to get piano comp. Style is _BALADE.STY (Ctry Ballad w/ el. guit (85 RS)) is used for RB recording. Time offset effect is used on lead vocal Mixed in RB. SD

Hi SD !
There is an air of choral or church music
over this beautiful tune of yours.
I can understand your pain too when
you wrote this one. I lost my dear
wife 2 years ago after a 4 year struggle
against cancer ! I will never come over it
completely, but today I can manage and I
must say that without the music I had not
survived !
IMO Your tune fits the theme just about perfectly !

Tough one. But ya gotta do it.. No doubt about it, you did a wonderful job expressing what many people go through on a day to day basis with Alzheimer's and the effects it has on everyone involved. This could be the Alzheimer’s anthem. Later,
