The "Transpose each chorus" feature (on Practice window / transpose songs) has never worked properly with Realtracks on my system, but I think it used to work with midi styles on previous versions.
Now, with 2014, it's not working properly, no matter if using real or midi styles: it has an big delay between each chorus, and it transposes a wrong number of semitones most of the times.
It's just me?

It looks like it may be just you. Give us the details of your computer system and then the details of how you have Biab set up in the Opt>Preferences window. Bob

Thanks for answering, Jazzmammal. I'm using Biab 2014 327 on an Intel Core7 PC, with 8 mb Ram and running Windows 7 Home. I've just made a "Return to factory settings" and the problem persist.
This is exactly what I'm doing:
1. New song, C chord on the first bar, 32 bars long, 3 choruses, any Realtracks style. 2. Click "Window" - "Practice window" - "Transpose songs" and set the "Each chorus a song is playing, transpose by # semitones" to 5. 3. Press play.
Now, Biab should play the first chorus in C, the second one in F and the third one in Bb, rigth?
Well, what actually happens is quite different: A) the program plays correctly the first chorus in C B) when the cursor arrives to bar 32: -The playback stops -The program correctly changes the C chord on the first bar for an F chord, which is showed for some seconds. -The program then incorrectly changes the F chord for a B flat chord... -But restart the playback playng on F!
By the way, I'm getting the same anomaly on the transition between the second and the third chorus.
So, I'm getting two problems using this feature: 1. The playback stops for several seconds between choruses, in an unmusical way (it's imposible playing along between choruses) 2. The program shows some (incorrectly transposed) chords, but plays the rigth one.
Is it working correctly for you?

Cerio, I haven't upgraded to 2014 yet but I did notice you are running build 377. Build 379 came out December 12. You may want to try it and see if there is any difference. Link is here. By the way, thank you for the RealDrums tracks you've produced. Really nice work.

I never liked using the repeat function that is default when you open a BB song.
I like to UNFOLD into one big chorus (as BB puts it).... that way I ca see what's happening in any part of the song just by looking and no guesswork needed as to am I in the 2nd or 3rd verse.
In this manner, you simply write in the chords you need where you need them. BB will play back with no pausing and no need to rethink anything.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

As far as I am aware, the 255 bar limit is still in place when inside BiaB.
However, RealBand does not have such limits if you use it in the right way, copying BB generated tracks to the static tracks below, etc. If you are clever with your importing of BB tracks, plus generation of same inside RB, plus editing, it is conceivable that you could make "One Long Song" that lasts for days.

I'll test that out when I get a chance but in the middle of Christmas season I can't promise when that will be. I just did a gig last night and I had to print out a bunch of charts for the guys. You know how that goes.
I don't know if it matters but tell us what you have set up in the Biab midi drivers and audio drivers windows.
I just thought of something, you have the practice session going up by fifths? Try it by fourths. Maybe fifths requires a regeneration of the RT's and that may be what's causing the pause you're hearing. Does it still have the same pause if it's all midi?
