So here I am sat on my hot and sunny beach at Longboat Key, sipping my ice cool beer when Suddenly a song pops into my head. “Quick,” says I to my dearest wife, ”Get out the Tablet and get BB up”. “You forget, Dearest, that you can't do this out here because you had to turn the PC off at home. Insurance rules and all that”. So my chance at another “Yesterday” passed me by. Sob!  As this is a WISHLIST, I wish that we could Log On to a BB computer back at PG, pay by the hour / day (whatever) and when done Save it to my tablet as an SGU for when I get home. Is there any chance of this lovely dream coming true in this Century? In the meantime – “Pass me another Coors, Darling”. Ian

Maybe reworking existing Apps (next to useless in reality) to provide a "Gateway".
Use Google Wallet, PayPal etc to pay in and that starts the clock, rather like us paying for Campsite WiFi by the day when on holiday.

Sixchannel, are you suggesting PG Music offer an internet based subscription service for BIAB, RealBand or both programs? If so, what a neat idea!
Microsoft has been pushing more and more Office resources into the cloud. Google has many cloud based apps and service.
I can see many benefits for PG Music (such as a "try before you buy" option to attract new customers) as well as enriching current users. Taking the thought one step further, a cloud based service would allow tablet, smart phone and users of Apple based products to share common versions of both programs.

You got it, Jim  Not so sure about the "Try before you Buy" concept as any SGU created could only be played on already BIAB registered software on your PC when you got home. But being able to try out BIAB without the ability to Save is a great idea and would hopefully attract new customers. Google already has BB App - although it is poor and needs your PC to be always on to act as Server, which is useless the moment you move away from Base. This idea would involve a Server at PG with some serious Grunt to handle maybe several Users at a time. I'm not so sure about it being Cloud based. What would I do on sunny days??    Ian
