This song is about my (Anne-Marie's) sister who died recently. Although her cancer was cured she suffered from some terrible side effects. She decided not to go on. Although understandable her decision came as a shock to us all. Composing this song for her, helped accepting it. So very sorry to hear of your loss. This song is a beautiful as I'm sure she was. People pass on but what they leave behind lives on and it's obvious she left a lot of warmth and love behind. A simply gorgeous song that further embellishes the time you had with her and the precious memories she scattered about. Beautifully done!

Wow... cool tune on a difficult subject.
I have 2 songs on my site that were inspired by folks who had cancer... one is recovered and the other passed on.
It's probably the hardest kind of song to write. But as you pointed out, it can be cathartic.
