Dear friends, this is a love song to my new Lady friend Li !:))
I do not have the slightest clue why I chose to build it on
this shuffle style,it just came on ?

Recorded and Mixed with Mixcraft 6 on my laptop.
Zoom H4n used as mic.

STYLE: TANTUKER.STY (Shuffle Country - Rock Style
Bass: 34 Finger El Bass
Piano: 1 AC Piano
Drums: Realdrums Nashville Shuffle 06 Stick, Snare
Guitar: 28 Clean El Guitar
Soloist: 51 Synth Strings 1

Here are the links:

http://soundcloud.com/dani-lindroos/now-you-are-mine
http://app.box.com/s/hqeintdazwrh37d9cxt0

....and the lyrics:

Now You Are Mine (by Dani) © Dani Lindroos 2014

Took you on, babe
you were left astray, out in the gray
now they´re gone, babe
lonely days are gone away

now you´re mine ……all mine !

Now you´re mine, lady
and I´ll love you so, even more than you know
you´re so fine, lady
now I know our love will start to grow

How, how did it go this way
was it just by chance?
just a passing romance?
but no, now I know that it´s real I can feel
that you´re here to stay

and you´re mine…….all mine!

Now you´re mine, lady
I´ll take care of you, and will love you true
you´re so fine, lady
now I know our love will start to grow
…..fade away…..

Hi Dani, the biggest thing for me listening to this is that there is too much harmony going on through the whole song with the exception of a small part about a quarter way in. When you sing with just your straight voice I can understand the lyric better and I think it would make for a better result. You can put the harmony in at different places to accent the song. I don't mind the shuffle (one of my favorite styles) You have a nice voice on its own so showcase it. Just my 2 cents. Enjoyed listening, good job

Dani, the shuffle style fits you very well. Outstanding job on this. You've really got a good grasp of the feel of the old standards to me.

Good for you buddy! A great way to express what's happening.

Just like Mr jane said "smoooooooth."

We both always like a shuffle and enjoyed the spin.

Congratulations on your new song and girl friend!

As Alyn has said this is another Dani masterpiece.

Personally I would have used the harmonies a little more sparingly however I did not find them distracting. Your voice is just perfect for this genre! I liked the chord progression also.

Hi Dani,

yes, smooth is the word!
Unmistakably your specific style.
Did the new lady like it? I bet she did wink

I'll bet she loved it!! Really nice tune. It has "Dani" written all over it. Sometimes, we just listen to a song to hear a song, and sometimes the artist just feels like a person in our life and we just want to hear what they have to say. That's how I feel about many favorites (Jackson Browne, James Taylor, etc.) and that's the feeling I get when I see you've posted a new one-just looking forward to seeing what Dani's doing now. Another great listen!! Take care. Greg
