Right, that Mozart one seemed to please people (you lot really are an enthusiastic bunch, eh!), so here I go digging for another one to boost my ego - or at least try feel like I earned some of it  Went for something quite different, my take on an old Swedish folk song (always gotta mind that tricky 'public domain'), you may not know but I hope you like anyway. It's called "Vem kan segla" (means: Who can sail), and is usually done as a waltz...so of course I did not!  My version is also instrumental (and this time around I do actually play some of it myself), though the song does have lyrics, simply because I have neither the voice nor the gear for it other than instrumental. To compensate, I'll give here my very unofficial translation: Who can sail when there is no wind?
Who can row without paddles?
Who can part from their dearest friend,
without starting to weep?
I can sail when there is no wind.

There's some odd glitching with the cello, such as at 1:00 and 3:00. Is that a feature of the cello, or just an artifact?

There's some odd glitching with the cello, such as at 1:00 and 3:00. Is that a feature of the cello, or just an artifact? If you're talking about the pitch as I presume, then it's intentional. I was trying to emulate the slightest bit of glissando here & there with pitch bend, for some nuances in the playing. I'm actually playing my old Roland keyboard there, with the cello sound from "Myriad's GOLD sound set". The other instruments, piano and sax, are of course Realtracks (Piano, Acoustic, Solo-Acc PopVancouver Ev 100 and Sax, Tenor, 2-Beat Rock Ev 110, respectively). This piece is a few versions older than my other song sample, hence the choices of such "old" RT's...plus, they just seemed a perfect fit! p.s. And if anyone picked up on it and wondered, I have no idea how or why the piano started to actually double my melody(!) in parts. It didn't do that on the first render at all (before any melody had been entered), but by the third render I noticed it, so that was the 'take' that I kept. Pretty neat, huh
