The lead in the center ....was that a live recording? It was out of tune which distracted from an otherwise melodic song to that point. I like this song.... it has a good vibe and feel to it. I've listened several times now and this is very enjoyable to listen to. It is completely original but you managed to also make it sound familiar. A statement about the familiar aspect of the song. The vibe I get is this would also work well as a rockabilly tune in the style of Buddy Holly. That is simply a personal observation and in no way effects that you chose a style to make the song uniquely yours.
