i have posted this on both mac and win forum.
i purchased biab2016 win .
I have both a pc and a mac.
I'm thinking i'd like to install this on my mac using parallels.
Any reason not to???

I don't have a Mac, but the last time he commented on the subject, Peter Gannon (the PG in PG Music) does. I don't remember if he uses Parallels or that other way to run Windows on a Mac (forgot the name - Boot Camp or something?), but he develops BIAB for Windows in that environment.
Try it. There are a few here who do the same thing, or at least I recall they did through version 2015.
BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.

Further to Matt's comments... Peter Gannon uses Bootcamp and programs BIAB on a Mac. Also, a number of people have used Parallels successfully with earlier versions of BIAB. It's definitely worth trying. Let the forum know how you go with it. I'm sure that others would be interested. Here's a thread from 2013...

I have been running BIAB in Parallels Desktop for many years, including BIAB 2016 for the last week. It has always worked like a charm.
I'm still running Windows 7 in my Parallels virtual machine, though.
