Heaven's Angel

Six days since I saw her seems like eternity
I can't wait to hold her hand taste her kisses set me free

Her smile kept me going, Teasing, in my dreams
When I get to hold her, moonlight magic on the breeze

Soon my waiting will be over
And I will hold her once again
Standing silent in the moonlight
Heaven's angel waits for me

Gold ring, in my pocket Giving her my best
On my knees before her, I pray to God that she says yes

I was writing this from a minimalist POV... The goal was to use as few words as possible to get the story across.
It was an experiment in writing.

I'm also curious to see what influences you hear in this song.

Add nothing that adds nothing to the music.
You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both.

The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
