I was wondering if you could detail how you made a recording. What kind of microphones, connected to what and how? Do you use earphones when recording the trumpet track? Do you use RealBand to enhance or balance any of the tracks? It seems to me it is the detail of connections that holds the answers and you obviously have them. I agree with your comments about the backing and said the same thing on The Trombone Forum. However, I had to use a midi trombone to illustrate and I would much prefer to play my own trombone over the backing: https://soundcloud.com/grah-bonejazz/please-be-kind "Please Be Kind" was my Band-in-a-Box sample, which a lot of my trombone internet mates think is absolutely a great backing. Several of them purchased Band-in-a-Box as a result. I have a Dell ALL-In-One computer and I record to its hardrive while playing the backgrounds right from BIAB. I like to balance everything right from the BIAB interface and use its reverb and panning utilities. BTW, Bass Trombonist George Roberts of Sinatra recording fame, used to put a mic almost DOWN THE BELL of his horn to record. That way, he could play really soft and let the engineer control do what he wanted with the perfectly isolated sound from the horn. That's how all those Sinatra Bass Trombone recordings were done. We used to "kid" George about "losing" his horn to that microphone someday. We all got a laugh at that, but Sinatra got the sound he wanted using this wonderful technique! So, I agree with Dr. Gannon . . . "Have fun"! JZ Having fun!

The Bob Doyle Media YouTube channel is known for demonstrating how you can creatively incorporate AI into your projects - from your song projects to avatar building to face swapping, and more!

His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
