Heard this song on the tv a couple of days ago and its melody was playing pretty much continuously in my head. Starting playing it on the guitar and this is how it turned out. I hope you find it a bit recognizable. This was a bit of a stretch for me. Amazing Grace _SBLLGRW - SlowBlueGrassWalz w Banjo BB RealBass 1121 BB Realdrums 166 Mandolin BB Real Strings 1698 Banjo RT1856 Cello Les Paul Jr Special.. A couple of acoustic rhythm tracks I found the backtrack in the BIAB Artist Folder. There is allot of cool backtracks in there.

Recognizable as having that Scott feel,definitely.
To these ears you`ve added a lovely guitar tone and just the right amount of embellishment, light and shade to the melody.
Had me swaying and humming.

Sounds great to me, you kept close enough to the melody so it was recognizable but also made it your own.

Great guitar tone. Doesn't sound like a Les Paul. What effects did you use on the guitar. I hear a some delay; maybe a bit of reverb. Nice! Bob

A distinctive take on this old chestnut of a tune. What did Chuck Berry say? "he could play a guitar just like a ringing a bell" !
Must have had this in mind.
