w Expert Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,082 somewhere in outer space	Hi Chris Kenward , Excuse me for chiming in on your question/topic. I use Mac Band-in-a-Box 2017 Audiophile version to initially capture my musical ideas and then a DAW ( such as Mac Digital Performer or Logic Pro X ) to manipulate those audio tracks, especially the drum tracks. Those drum tracks are live performances by for real drummers and therefore it is a huge undertaking to record nearly every possible drum play a user would want. Now since those two DAW's i mentioned cost big bucks you may not want to buy them. In your situation if you very recently purchased the Mac version you may ask PG for an refund or exchange by stating your dissatisfaction. On the other hand you could also ask PG to help you thru your problem. In both matters I know from personal experience that PG is excellent in customer service and satisfaction. His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
