Having a Problem #434119 10/18/17 05:39 PM Band-in-a-Box for Windows

OP Skip Ellis Enthusiast S Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 39 Bradenton, FL USA	Recently BIAB 11 quit loading from either the shortcut or .exe file. I would get a momentary circular cursor (Win10) which would stop. The BB icon would appear in the task bar but wouldn't do anything. I used an uninstaller program and cleared all BB associated items off my hard drive, then reloaded everything (BIAB 11 & Real Band 12) from the PG hard drive on to my hard drive with the same results - BIAB will not load but Real Band seems to work OK. Nothing has changed with the computer recently that would cause this. I'm stumped. Any thoughts?

Can you temporarily disable A/V or add the x:\bb\ folder to the exclusions in your A/V software? If you right-click on the BiaB icon on the desktop and select Properties > Shortcut does it point to the correct exe file? OP Skip Ellis Enthusiast S Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 39 Bradenton, FL USA	VideoTrack: Yes, the shortcut points to the correct executable. I have Windows Defender running as well as Avast Antivirus. Defender shows BB as 'allowed' and I added the BB folder as an exception on Avast. Still no results.

Make sure the "Run As Administrator" box is checked. Also since you're using an older version of the program try selecting a compatibility mode like WinXP, Win98 or even Win95. I heard that PG Music's support is second-to-none. That might be a fast way to get your issue resolved. The Bob Doyle Media YouTube channel is known for demonstrating how you can creatively incorporate AI into your projects - from your song projects to avatar building to face swapping, and more!

His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
