Piano-recital

This two minute piano-recital was made with a midi-file song template: called "figured you out"... yeah Nickleback... I wanted to hear; how many piano riffs were embedded in my BIAB. SO I quickly made many midi styles of this song. By looking quickly at the tracks it was easy, to see, where the piano riffs were. Yes, with those riffs I created a new "Piano-recital" . I don't know which final riffs, I used among these many midi-file styles below:

All this got edited down to 2 minutes.... Hope you like it

Hi, "LPMan"...

I wouldn't think you were lazy at all based on the way you conceptualized this piece, "Piano-recital"!

I would describe it as "esoterically exciting" in that it has the quality of "indeterminacy" that daring classical composers such as John Cage and Witold Lutoslawski employed in their form-challenging compositions. It's as though the music was listening to itself to discover where it should go next.

Altogether a nice melange of sounds and styles feeding off of each other like some kind of stop-motion, musical kaleidoscope.

Intrigued,

LOREN

A very good piano recital it is! You did a good job of piecing all of these together.

Thanks so much LOREN

Well, I checked out "John Cage and Witold Lutoslawski"
and read a little history on them, then I sampled some of
their music. I must say... I am in excellent company! I would like to thank; BIAB for making this all possible...

Your review of my song really floors me... thank-you

What an interesting piece of music! I found it really exciting and unpredictable, which is a good thing in my books. I definitely get a John Cage sort of vibe here.

Thanks so much for sharing smile

Thanks furry,

To be honest; I have know idea what genre this is, so I tagged it as
#classic saloon..... the only one on Soundcloud...so far! That's the fun thing about tags. I liked your tribute to the late Mrs Helen Shepherd.

You asked, "Could it be classed as Jazz?" LOREN aka bluage
would probably know...

I wanna thank-you for your wonderful support smile

Thanks MusicStudent

I am always looking for ways to improvise on my piano,
so I can handed it to BIAB.... and say, "Show me your interpretation of my new music piece."

thanks for the listen and your kind response.

Thanks Scott

It is a strange piece... It took 3 months to decide if it was worth posting and figuring out; how to explain what I've done in a nutshell. I think this song is; INSANITY trying to sound ~SANE.... ( or maybe that is just me. )

This to me... is definitely like a mad-scientist concoction.
I had my reservation, but I'm glad I decided to post it, none the less.

THanks for posting your thoughts

Yes! What a cool idea and terrific results! I can only try to imagine how much time you put into this. the concept is terrific and the execution was spot on. Very nice work!

As far as genre, it's a tough call. What do you think we just call it "LP Contemporary"? Works for me!

Best to you.

Alan

It would be very hard to add to what Loren said.

There are a lot of interesting riffs there. Kept our attention through back to back listens!

The contrast of all this work with the handle "Lazy" was the first thing that went through my mind. Interesting collection here! Take care. Greg
