This song totally takes me back to my French classes when I was younger. It sounds like something we would use as a tool to teach us French in a fun way. I always found that songs that taught us the language helped to make the information stick.
I really like what you did with the RealTracks in this song! This song is going to be stuck in my head all day. Time to sing about the fishes!

Really good job here, Chris  I have to be honest, as a non-French speaker I wouldn't have any idea this was a song for children if you hadn't said so! It's wonderfully catchy, and I found the mixing job on this to be top notch. I have a feeling that vocal melody is going to be stuck in my head all day now Great work, and thanks so much for sharing!

"Chris37"... Your song, "Les Poissons", has a melancholy feel to it that makes me think the (possibly hungry?) children didn't receive the fish they (may have been?) asking for! Nonetheless, the storytelling aspect of the song was expressively conveyed by your strong voice. It wasn't necessary for me to have a translation of your lyrics to imagine that you were describing a problem that begged for a solution, if I'm correct. Your Real Track selections lent an ensemble feel to your song, sounding very lively and harmonious, as usual, with the banjo adding a tone that suggested fragility, or frailty, possibly standing in as a musical signifier of an elderly person, perhaps? "Chris37", if you were a "street" musician, I would be happy to toss lots of coins into the hat you placed on the sidewalk! Entertained, as usual, LOREN
