Good Day
Is there a way to addin the Ooh and Aah RealTracks in RB 2018 (4). I cannot seem to locate them using "Generate...."? I may be missing something obvious?
Thank you
Roy

In Generate RealTrack section, scroll to bottom and look for Vocals .. they should be there.
If not, try re-installing the RT set 278, or rebuilding the Styles list.

The styles list is different than the RT list, but it affects the RTs that Realband can see. (RT's are included in Styles).

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Roy, here's what I had to do to get the Ooh and Aah RealTracks in RB 2018 (4).

When I initially searched for the Ooh and Aah RealTracks in RB 2018 (4), Search for the Oohlala Style wasn't found. All of the BGV RT's showed as **NA** in RB StylePicker even though they showed normally in the BIAB StylePicker.

I did a complete rebuild of the BIAB StylePicker and although the BGV styles were searchable and appeared ok, the rebuild found 29 additional styles although my total number of styles did not increase but stayed the same total as before the rebuild (6094).

Then I opened RB and did a complete rebuild of the RB StylePicker. The rebuild produced the same results in the RB StylePicker, adding 29 files but with no difference in the total number of styles.

I was able to search, load and generate a song using the Oohlala style and using the 2975 RT after taking these steps.

You may also need to rebuild your RB StylePicker. I see Rharv posted the same as I was composing my comment.

Thank you rharv - problem solved. I loaded an sgu file into the new RB2018 without going to the stylepicker. Just opening the stylpicker triggered the style and RealTrack rebuild (or the rebuild button also works)
All styles now visible.

Thnaks to Charlie as well!

Yup, same here. First time I launched the style picker in both BIAB and RB for the first time (2018) it re-populated the list.

Which level of Real Band has those vocals? I have the $269 one, whatever it is called. I too see the 3069 as N/A. Do you guys have the uber pack that costs almost 500 bucks? I am starting to think they are just not available on my version. I did the rebuilding as Charlie said but I still don't have those vocals available to me.

I guess my being cheap is the problem. I only go up to 2780 in Real Tracks. I have to buy more to go to 3062. I don't have the Mondo-Gives You Everything version. Yet. Emailed asking about this situation and what more I'd have to buy.

Revisiting this topic. I have the level of product I need to get those Real Tracks for vocals, but almost every time I try to use them they show as NA and I have to rebuild before they show. Is that a common bug? I know Charlie posted about this as well.

I DID manage to get things working with rharv's help. I just pretty much didn't know what I was doing....

My gripe with them was that they mix both ooh and aah in the same real track. I am working on something now that needs ooh to a certain point and then aah and I don't have control over that. I could make it work by cutting and pasting and pitch changing the correct syllable, but that's like a part time job. And I don't work even part time anymore....

I haven't gone back and confirmed but some of these tracks, the ooh's and aah's are determined by the part marker. Blue = ooh and green = aah.

The problem is that I'm a dumbass and don't take the time to read. It says in the description if it is ooh, aah, or a mix of both.

Time to go tweak a song....

I was gonna say; different RT variationss have different ooh/ahh results as shown in my image .. but I think you see that now!
Good hunting.

I haven't played with them much .. too many singers around here, so I just ask someone to sing what I want, which is rarely an ooh/ahh anyway.
I tinkered/tested them during beta, but have not used them in real life much

No. They do not. They sound like real people pushed through some autotuning software, with that kind nasal, something is stuck in my throat kind of sound.

I used them a couple of time so far but what I did was sang all the parts I could reach myself in addition to the packaged ones and mixed them. It kinda sorta fools the ear some.

I've heard her perform. There's no bias required. She is outstanding.
