They took down an old bridge near my home town area of Northwest Illinois on the Mississippi River today. You can see the delay in the sound wave coming at the camera and the brief camera shake when the sound wave hits. Awesome!!! Demolition of Savanna/Sabula Bridge (MP4)Article

Nice demonstration of the speeds of sound versus light. The old bridge is in the water before you hear the blast.

Nice demonstration of the speeds of sound versus light. Yes, I watched some recent videos of those rockets that can land back at Cape Canaveral. The camera was over a mile away and those sonic booms were a lot more delayed.
