So peeps, I wanted a hooky as you know what keyboard hook on this tune because I had a talk with Hear to Learn about writing some hooks. So, I called up my buddy and bandmate Jon Healey in LA and asked him to lay down some keyboard hooks old school.

And he did it.

Just so you know in advance, I am going to bump this like 1,000 times now that the forum is back in order.

Anyway, the chords are different and the notes are completely different, and the phrasing is different so I think I am safe.

There is a nod, of course, that is part of the joke.

A hint of mid career Dylan in this, apart from the voice of course. I particularly enjoyed the chorus.

Don't ask me why -- cuz it makes no sense -- but for some ineffable reason this sounds to me like Sam the Sham meets Bob Dylan. I couldn't stop listening . . .

The riff of keyboard is really nice.

Very different tune David. Really liked the backtrack and super vocal and lyric. The synth had a pretty cool sound to it...
