In 1993 I composed the songs for my first gospel album with my band "Single Heart"...to celebrate it's silver anniversary I'm taking the original vocals and some of the guitar work from the 1993 recordings and remixing them with totally new sound tracks made with Band-in-a-Box 2018...this is one example...I used style BRAMBLE.STY Bramble Fast Folk with Brushes at 144 bpm in the key of E...I always hated the tracks from 1993 but love the new BiaB ones so far. https://www.soundclick.com/html5/v4/player.cfm?songID=13733484He Calmed the Storm Within Writer (words/music)Dan Simmons Copyright 1993 Daniel B. Right off the bat - those humming harmonies are captivating. There is a lot of power and sincerity behind this tune, and you can really hear it in the vocals. It is an incredibly strong song, and I can't help but imagine how good this would sound in a live setting.

That was really well done.
I can see the setting folk/country venue, and that song being played and sung with those harmonies just as the sun is setting.

Josie Josie...some of these songs were really tricky...they were originally recorded on an ADAT 8 track tape deck and tape speed though it was a digital format by the end of a song did not always stay in sync...long story short I tried to match the BPM's and hope for the best 'cause I had no sync (MIDI, time clock,etc.) except my ear...some worked and some didn't. When you consider there was a 25 year separation between the two...well I'm very pleased...thanks for the comments...I'm glad you enjoyed it...I have five others done as well from that album. Loved everything about this! Can’t give an improvement comment on any aspect of it, and on top of it all, so pleasing to listen to it. I especially liked the introduction of the tambourine towards the end as a slight added element to highlight the repeated chorus.
