VideoTrack's tab hide would be ideal but if you can't work that out maybe just have it over to the right to resize it out of the way as you have more horizontal width on your screen than vertical unless your in portrait mode :

There are of course lot's of different ways to achieve these things. My code took about 20 minutes to write, test and deliver. My code would work natively in BiaB, no question. It's only a matter of what parent surfaces you put these controls on.
What may appear to be quite challenging and problematic for end users is actually not that difficult at all. Really.

No matter how the request is implemented, implementing the request would reduce a huge annoyance to users that DO use VSTs down to no longer an issue size.
