@cubanpete - This track is quite lovely. I'm a big fan of jazz and of this flavor, so its a real pleasure to listen to. The instruments sound excellent - even the horns and woodwinds sound natural which takes some good equipment or software to do.
May I ask briefly how to put the melody parts in place? I've tried to enter things like that manually via MIDI or notation, but its very tedious and for me at least, its hard to keep track of phrasing when you're doing it measure by measure.
Overall a very smooth, sophisticated and sultry production - well done.

Hi Ed, here's the stats for this tune. As you can see this is an all real track and real drum piece. Once you have the chord progression the way you want it just generate the instruments parts or style and the program takes care of the rest. You can do this as many times as you need till it sound the way you want. Style is _J140_T2.STY (Classy Jazz Quartet)

Well edited cubanpete. The horn was a little strident in the 1st 30 seconds or so but things seemed to settle after that.

Mike. You are a pro at arranging a great Jazz track and this one continues that tradition! Beautiful mix and blend of instrumentation! Kind of helps my mind escape the turmoil of the day! Enjoyed it! Thanks, Torrey

Hi Mike,
just like Noel said: tasteful. Everything is very enhjyable with this one. Could listen to it over and over again.
But it would be nice to know, if the solos are all BIAB or if there is some playing by yourself...
Happy Holidays,
Stefan

Wow - true the name, it really is a lovely tune. The mix is top notch, and I love the flow of this one. Got my toe tapping from the get go - the groove is fantastic. You should be proud of this one - thanks for sharing

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
