Beautiful.
The piano sounds great. Nice touch to the playing. Delicate.
The rest of the instruments sound really good, too. A nice spread across the stereo field. Good mix.
Not to detract from how good this is...but the snare roll seemed out-of-sorts with the rest of the piece. A bit jarring, while the rest is so "peaceful". A simple timpani (maybe two hits) might work better in both of those spots???
A good listen.

The snare roll was included to underscore the military aspect of the story. If lowering the volume or moving it to the distance doesn't improve it I might try your suggestion.

Really pretty. Loved the bells to open and end. Melodic piano works well. This hits the heart-strings, and it a wonderful reflective work that began and ended as at when it felt right.
