Version 2

Note I deleted my first version after I thought everyone had viewed it. I apologize to those whom tried to view it after it was taken down.

In version 2 I main a few changes bases on some excellent constructive criticism. I changed some staccato notes into legato notes and added a tenor sax.

Below is my original write up. I changed some staccato notes into legato notes and added a tenor sax.

This is Icelander's original version:

https://soundcloud.com/eddie-icelander/tremendous-travellers

He used SF2 MIDI sounds. I said that if you wish I could add some better sound sources. He said he has better sounds but here are the stems and do whatever you want to do with it.

I did some changes from the original. I deleted the guitar and accordion tracks. I modified the drums, changed the trumpet sound, and added some slight vibrato and volume changes to it. I added cabassa and maraca tracks.

I hope you like it for what it is.

Nice, real nice! cool

And not nearly as drastically changed as I had expected, I have to say laugh

p.s, My only nitpick would be the choice of using the trumpet as voicing for a bit there toward the end. I think it might have worked better to just keep the sax in that role throughout that latter half.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

Some of the chords you use, I didn't know even existed, let alone use in my own stuff, haha ;-) I only half-joke, but, seriously ... great, great job.

Well, the chord progression is above our paygrade but we
didn't let that prevent our enjoyment of the new version
and the old one)!

Mario, your samples win in terms of realism.
I like your changes and the trumpet makes the piece just that little bit stronger.

Cheers

Hi, Mario !

Came in at last to discover
a gem of a tune and so
perfectly mixed that I
got the feelin´of standin´in
front of a big brass orch !

Marvelous work from you
and Ice if it was his tune

Thanx to all who listened and commented. I am not taking the credit for this as it was all Icelanders' work. I just massaged it a little and used some of my sounds.
