I'd be interested. I understood that they are just 'sculptures' (their term). One could play them with drum-sticks to make a sound as you suggest, although this wasn't indicated except for the single image of a spiral of drums glued to a wall in an anti-clockwise direction ('transmigration'). However, dropping any of these guitars from a great height would also deliver an "extraordinary" sound I suppose. As for extraordinary guitar licks? Well, I'm not so sure.
