OP Rustyspoon# Veteran Joined: Mar 2018 Posts: 5,824	"Select patch" as name implies selecting a patch-SOUND. As I understand that is for selecting GM based sounds when you already have things happening in Piano roll. Custom Midi- selects (pulls) a MIDI segment/performance stem from PG MIDI style catalog.
