This great set of up-tempo, lively western strings will liven up your day AND your mix! RealTracks Set 100 includes 4 new electric guitar styles that can be used in conjunction with our previously release Western Swing styles. The styles were recorded at 2 tempos, 165 & 190, with basic comping patterns at both tempos, a "picked" style at the slower tempo, and a "held" style at the faster tempo. Plus we add to our increasing collection of Pedal Steel styles at both of these tempos as well. These are warm, swinging styles with gorgeous tones & harmonies, using the classic Western Swing C6 tuning. And you're not limited to 165 or 190, all tempos in between are also covered with the superior stretching features in Band-in-a-Box. And, if you have tempo-swapping enabled in Band-in-a-Box, you can pick the 165 bpm style, but if you increase your tempo to near or past 190, Band-in-a-Box will recognize that that's a better choice for your song, and will automatically swap it. DThis RealStyle features the quintessential Western Swing sound: the Pedal Steel!. This is the fast (190 bpm) version of this style from RealTracks Set 100, here joined by the WesternSwing electric guitar from Set 62, as well as acoustic bass & guitar, and the NashvilleSwing8 RealDrums.
WSWNGM2 Style Demo
This RealStyle features all 4 of the 165 bpm WesternSwing electric guitar styles, 2 from RealTracks Set 100, and 2 from Set 62. In both cases, they're using the variations that switch from one style to the other at the A & B part markers. The WesternSwingWarmPicked style is used at A, featuring picked arpeggios, and the WesternSwingWarmComp style is used at B, which moves into a straighter groove. Also included are acoustic guitar and bass RealTracks, and the NashvilleSwing8 RealDrums.

This RealStyle features the laid-back slower version of the WesternSwing pedal steel style from RealTracks Set 100. It's joined by both electric and acoustic guitars, upright bass, and NashvilleSwing8 RealDrums. In this particular demo, the common progression of the I major chord moving to the II7 chord is used to full effect. At the bridge, another common progression to the genre is used: IV-IVm.
