December 21, 2016 - User Showcase Song - A Mem'ry Of You
A country ballad with a late 1970s feel. I (Alan) wrote this song many, many years ago ... in the late 1980s or early 1990s (need to find my copyright sheet). We're real happy with the backing tracks but not quite where we want it otherwise. The lyric could probably use a little editing and I need to get my phrasing more precise. It's a work in progress.
I had Gene Watson in mind when I wrote this. Yeah, that would have been nice!
