RealTracks Artist Bio: Danny Gottlieb

Danny Gottlieb is one of the world’s most in-demand drummers. He has performed and recorded with the likes of the Pat Metheny Group, the Mahavishnu Orchestra, the Gil Evans Orchestra, and many more. Along with his percussionist wife Beth, he has also been a members of Gary Sinise's Lt. Dan Band since 2004. His discography includes more than 400 CDs, he has won four Grammy Awards, and has been nominated for 5 more. He currently resides in Nashville, but is also a member of the University of North Florida jazz faculty, where he teaches as a full-time Professor of Jazz Studies.
