Hi All,

Here’s a simple slow rocker - this is called RUNNING.

Play me some shirtless Iggy Pop
A little bit angry and over the top
Give me some distance to get away from here

When I get to running
I always run into you
When I get to running
I always run into you

My friend told me that I’m a goner
A love lost loser in the corner
Give you up and get far away from here

Now, when I get to running
I always run into you
Yeah, when I get to running
I always run into you

We ran our game all over this town
Sometimes up and sometimes down
I’m still moving trying to get there from here

Now, when I get to running
I always run into you
Yeah, when I get to running
I always run into you

When I get to running
I always run into you
When I get to running
I always run into you
When I get to running
I always run into you

I agree, nice groove on this Robert. That organ really sounds cool, and I like that intro - heck, I like the whole thing. Nice.

Another great tune, Bob! Really like the build at the start, and the organ over the acoustic guitars is a nice, soulful contrast. Also like the trance-like meditation on the theme at the end. Very moody and cool...love it!

Cool!
The band keeps the feel of movement throughout so that we cannot stop our imagined slow jog. 😊

The organ dynamics are excellent.
The intensity of your vocal as the song progresses is very effective.

One look at your SoundCloud wave form before listening always speaks to your use of great dynamics in an open mix … excellent.

Fine write, arrangement, vocal and session guys.

A great listen!

P.S. Janice cannot get the image of a shirtless Iggy Pop out of her head. 😜

Another really good song lyrically. The production is just right and I particularly like the use of the organ.

Bob, loved the groove in this one.
Outstanding vocal and lyrics; love the hook!
Super mix, especially with an acoustic guitar and a B3.
Gotta love a song with a B3!
Great work.

Man, ya know, when I need inspiration I usually run to your channel, Bob. Seriously, sir. No one writes 'em like you do. Your lyrics are aways so perfect and the melody has a cool hook that stays in your head. Your mix has that sensational emphasis on showing how good the song is uncluttered with flash. The kind of running you describe sounds like a worthwhile excersize. Or is it nightmarish? Yep, your songs make ya think, too.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Good one Bob! Has that signature sound!

A little Bob Dylan, a whole lot of 60s, the perfect amount of organ, and a metric ton of Bob Dean.

This made me think of the pastoral side of V.U...I'll Be Your Mirror and such.
I like the way the acoustic guitar comes in...natural.
The organ is another V.U. spectoral splash.
Tres Cool.

Bob...this is very cool....I love the organ work...it gives it that Bob Seger feel to me (plus the rasp in your voice as well)...you never disappoint us lyrically...your songs are always so well written...the words always flow and fit with the music's meter and flow...I really enjoyed it!

Nice work. It has a Bob Dylan and the Band kind of groove to me.

I like it

Hi, Bob.

As usual, excellent lyrics ("love lost loser", goner/corner) set to music, and well sung.

I enjoyed the song! laugh

Another great song! Well done. I don't think I've ever heard an "under par" song from you, and this is certainly no exception to that rule.
