Is there a site for musicians like IDBM is for actors? There’s a great documentary about a handful of Nashville musicians that have basically been the same studio musicians on 90% of the songs coming out of Nashville. I believe the documentary is called The Wrecking Crew.
Carrie Underwood’s keyboardist, Scott Sheriff, used to be Steven Curtis Chapman’s band leader. Those are the only two artists that I know of that he has worked with.
I’m trying to find out which other artist that he has played and recorded for and songs that he even wrote himself that were hits.
So that’s why I was wondering if there was a database for musicians like that one for movies is for actors. Does anyone know of any such site? Thanks.

I Googled his name and came up with his Nashville Musicians AFM Local entry here. Credits are at the bottom. FWIW, The Wrecking Crew were LA, not Nashville. Brian Wilson famously used them as his recording band instead of members of the Beach Boys for his later, more complex stuff, like "Good Vibrations".

I think the wrecking crew was an LA based group of musicians.

… There have been a few documentaries over the years but the notion that any one group made 90% is internet meme nonsense. As Carol Kaye will tell anyone who listens there were over 700 musicians at the AFM 47 (LA local) alone cranking it out. Nashville, Detroit, Memphis, Atlanta and New York also had it going on. MS Kaye and my wife taught at the same music store for awhile and we exchange messages now and then.
