This is another version of Untitled, my previous offering. I've now given it a title (at last), and replaced my voice with a cello MIDI track (from Mixcraft Pro Studio 10). I've also run the BIAB MIDI track through Dorico 5 Pro. If you have time and the will to listen, I would really appreciate your thoughts on this - many, many thanks. A beautiful piece of music! I didn’t hear the prior version, but not sure how it could top this. So well done, so compelling. Could easily serve as a soundtrack selection for a film. Bravo!

The cello was the perfect choice
Definitely your best to date IMHO

James, lovely composition. That cello has SO much character. I didn't dislike your previous version whatsoever, but this is quite elegant. My only constructive thought is that there are some passages starting at about 1:50 where the cello volume completely washes over the piano. You can see these sections on the SoundCloud waveform. Doesn't detract from the power of the tune in the slightest though.

I love the cello. It's such a perfect fit.
The composition and its presentation leads the listener along on a satisfyingly calm and meditative musical journey.

Pensive as well as thought-provoking. Good combination of effects. A hungry mind given nourishment. Maybe hard to imagine that as a compliment, but it is with deep respect for your abilities, James. This sounds so amazing. Relaxing if one needs it, sad if one is so inclined, uplifting if one needs direction. What a wonderful composition and rendition.

Wow, I'm watching a gentle breeze moving the leaves in our forest and the timing is perfect.
We used the word cinematic for the original but it applies even more so here.

I'm not an expert with classical music, but I enjoyed the melody line and it's orchestration. As a Finn I'm fond of the music of Jean Sibelius, and your song has same melancholic mood. Maybe you could add more instruments to the end to build it and keep interest on. But as a whole a very beautiful song and it touched my soul.
