Hectic and fun, but I think it would be a lot better if there was an alternative instrument playing a solo in the middle third; ie: not just a few seconds of something else. Glad ya got a little fun from it. He rarely has any lead instrument other than his piano. So, I stuck with that. Appreicate the visit and nice words! Alan

Mission accomplished, Alan! Six hours, well, you did say he is your best friend. Great work, I could hear a bit of Croc Rock in the progression, if my ears don't deceive me. Good afternoon, Thanks for the visit and very nice comments. In the chorus there are two bars/measures that have a similar sound to Crock Rock. But, my chord pattern is significantly different than his great song. And yeah, six hours is quite a while for me! I have 7 or 8 songs I put together last week in a two-day period. Nicely done, Alan. The early Elton John Band played the soundtrack to my youth, and this made me feel like I had hair again. Super composition and mix. Well done!

Nicely done, Alan. The early Elton John Band played the soundtrack to my youth, and this made me feel like I had hair again. Super composition and mix. Well done! I'm quite a bit older than you, it seems. in 1971, I'd arrived for my first of three tours in Germany. I remember hearing "Your Song", "Crocodile Rock", "Honky Cat", "Rocket Man", Tiny Dancer", and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" within the first couple of years on Armed Forces Radio, Europe. "Bennie And The Jets", too. He's been one of my Rock favorites since then. I put this one together just to see if I could emulate a similar sound. Glad you liked it. Thanks for the nicer words. Alan PS: I was stationed with a guy, one that tour, from Georgia named Ronald W. Davis. Your previous avatar reminded me a little bit of him. We were in Einsiedlerhof, Germany, about 6 miles from Kaiserslautern.
