OP NoelNicolas Enthusiast Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 70 Vietnam	When The Rain Falls This is my new track called "When The Rain Falls" "When The Rain Falls" is a smooth and nostalgic bossa nova-infused tune that captures the serene beauty of a rainy day. With gentle melodies and evocative lyrics, this song transports listeners to a place where memories flow as effortlessly as raindrops. This track was initially generated in BiaB, bossanova style. Then edited on Reason. The sax sound was taken from a Soundfont of Yamaha Tyros 4. Lyrics: A cool breeze flows through the air. The room feels chilly, crisp, and fair. Is the AC on? Or is it me? Imagining winds that roam so free. Oohh When I close my eyes, the coldness calls. Rain taps softly as my memory falls. I thought about my childhood, where I felt so free. When the rain falls, it pulls those days to me Chorus: The breeze hums low, easy, and light. This bossanova groove lifts me just right. I'm not sure what to do. Is it TV or radio? When the rain falls, it makes my feelings glow. Verse 3: The air whispers softly and gently. This groove lifts me up just nicely. I don't care if it's real or just in my brain. Some favourite Waoist Adages: #1: Play on the Way. #13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you. #58: Bring consciousness to it. #63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made. #92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

I would like it even more as an old fashioned, not so sweatened versio without the strings etc. One of my favourite records is Getz Au Go Go: the New Stan Getz Quartet (vibes Gary Burton!) featuring Astrud Gilberto recorded live in 1964 at Cafe Au Go Go, Greenwich Village, New York. If you can, please listen it and remix your fine song in that style. Then it would be perfect!

Listening this morning with my cup of coffee, you can't help but be put into a good mood. I like the rain sound mixed in at the end of the song.

The only thing I might say is that there are some terrific bossa nova soloists in BIAB that you might have employed, but not a big deal. Great work! Good idea using the Bossa beat for this; it sounds so good. Yeah, I enjoy rain too and this is such a good song to show your own enjoyment of it. That sax sounds perfect, and I like how you kept her going like she had just one more thing to say about the rain. This is obviously a very relaxing kind of rain, the kind conducive to sleepy cuddlings. Next you should create a stormy one.
