Oh, yeah, what a blast you must've had --and it sounds like it-- on this one, Herb. I dig the hard-driving feel and the vocal fits perfectly. Good band, and great guitar work. Also, excellent use of the micro chords. Cool drums, too. Much enjoyed. Thanks. those micro chords were really helpful in getting BB to do what I needed. And the drums.... Those were written a measure at a time and copied across the verses then edited for fills. Jamstix isn't loop based and takes a bit of time to learn. I'm almost to the lower base camp on this climb.

Herb,
This is brilliant. You're arrangement and production are stunning, and your performance is mesmerising. As a listener, I found that this was a very satisfying experience from start to end. It was easy to hear that you were fully committed to getting the very best result in every aspect of this presentation.

Great interpretation - I love everything about your song. Of course, as you may have guessed, the heavy part is what I like the most, right up my alley. Perfect vocals for this genre I don't think it's necessary to post the lyrics.... everybody knows this song, right? Wrong - but enjoyed my listen nonetheless Yessir.... I liked the second heavier part myself. You don't know this song? Oh my! A deprived childhood. This is has been covered by many musicians most notably Led Zeppelin. Go listen to several of the covers on YouTube. The original version was actually written in a 1-4-5 blues progression which several others including myself opted to scrap in favor of a mostly one chord verse. Thanks for listening

"No AI was harmed in the production of this classic." LOL
Herb, very cool rendition! Excellent vocals & playing. I like Hard Rock to a certain point of "hardness". This tune has a very tasteful balance of that. Enjoyed my listen and thank you for sharing. Misha.

Hi, Herb. That's a big sound that you've got there. Really impressive! You mentioned in a prior post you were double-guessing your vocals. I can't see why - you nailed it! Thanks David. `Wall O Guitars` by Herbco®...... That Quilter DA is one amazing thing. Makes it sound like there's a couple of double stacks on the backline. And nobody likes their own vocals.... Me included.

Nicely done. Good simple guitar lines. Good mix. Thanks for taking the time to comment on this. I appreciate that. Sometimes simple is best and keeping it simple often takes control to keep it simple.

Herb, YOU NAILED THIS ONE! Everything is perfect and sounds like it came from a professional studio or maybe the Fillmore East. The only thing I can say is I LOVED IT I'll take the Fillmore as a high compliment. Thanks for coming in to listen. Glad you enjoyed the concert.

Misha. Indeed Misha, "no AI was harmed". Lol..... Some folks seem to take offense to the use of AI.... I embrace all the tools but didn't use AI in this one. Just plain old guitars and stuff. I like to rock pretty heavy but I do have my limits on the hardness scale. That attracted me to groups like Zepplin and Boston. Thanks for listening and I'm glad it was a pleasant experience.

This sounds so good. I am not familiar with the song, but it sounds like the are crushing your cover. Man, the guitar is awesome. Your production is enviable, especially how you got the timing with BIAB instruments.

Herb,
Outstanding song and production. No need to 2nd guess your vocals. They're perfect for this one. Sweet guitars. And I particularly like the closed hi-hat and ride cymbals playing against each other. In fact, the entire drum kit was superb.
Nice ending!
Alan

Alan Those drums are jamstix 4 with a big rock kit and programmed manually. It's not the easiest drum synth but that makes it pretty cool. It's capable of doing anything that a live drummer can do. Chokes, hats going from open to closed, ghost notes, and more. Thanks for listening and focusing on the drums
