J’ai BIAB 2020 implanté sur mes 3 PC
- ma tour en WIN 10 Pro (v22H2)
- mon portable ASUS en WIN 10 Famille (v 22H2)
- mon portable HP en WIN 11 Famille (le dernier : v24H2)
Comportement de BIAB sur mes 2 PC WIN10
- le double clic sur un nom de fichier ( ex : All_of_me.SGU)
- provoque le lancement de BIAB, puis
- le chargement du morceau,
- puis la lecture automatique du morceau.
Comportement de BIAB sur mon PC WIN11
- le double clic sur le même nom de fichier
- provoque le lancement de BIAB, puis
- le chargement du morceau,
- mais pas la lecture du fichier. Il faut appuyer sur JOUE.
Associations
- toutes les associations semblent pourtant correctes sur mes 3 PC
Constat dans l’explorateur de fichiers
- sous WIN 10, il y a 2 possibilités, soit LIRE, soit OUVRIR un fichier
- sous WIN 11, il n’y a plus que l’option OUVRIR
- Ce qui explique peut-être le non fonctionnement du double clic sous WIN 11 ?
Ce que je pense faire pour essayer de remédier au problème
- Désinstaller puis réinstaller dans la foulée BIAB 2020 sur mon PC WIN 11
Question
- Dois-je préalablement désactiver BIAB sur mon PC WIN 11 ou pas ?
NOTA : J’ai testé également la fonction Go (ouvrir et jouer)
- Cette fonction fonctionne très bien, dommage qu’il faille développer plusieurs menus déroulants (Jouer / Jouer-options/ Go (ouvrir et jouer).
- Ceci n’est pas trop pratique pour lancer un morceau en tenant un instrument de type violon + archet …. PG musique n’aurait-il pas un raccourci (peut-être caché ?) à communiquer ?

My effort at translation:

I have BIAB 2020 installed on my three PCs:
- my tower running WIN 10 Pro (v22H2)
- my ASUS laptop running WIN 10 Home (v22H2)
- my HP laptop running WIN 11 Home (latest: v24H2)
BIAB behavior on my two WIN 10 PCs:
- double-clicking on a file name (e.g., All_of_me.SGU)
- causes BIAB to launch, then
- load the song,
- then autoplay the song.
BIAB behavior on my WIN 11 PC:
- double-clicking on the same file name
- causes BIAB to launch, then
- load the song,
- but not play the file. You have to press PLAY.
Associations
- all associations seem correct on my three PCs.
Observation in File Explorer
- under WIN 10, there are two options: READ or OPEN a file.
- under WIN 11, there is only the OPEN option.
- This could explain why double-clicking doesn't work under WIN 11?
What I'm thinking of doing to try to fix the problem?
- Uninstall and then reinstall BIAB 2020 on my WIN 11 PC.
Question
- Should I first disable BIAB on my WIN 11 PC or not? NOTE: I also tested the Go (open and play) function.
- This function works very well, it's a shame that multiple drop-down menus (Play / Play-options / Go (open and play)) are required.
- This isn't very practical for playing a song while holding an instrument like a violin and bow. Doesn't PG Musique have a shortcut (perhaps hidden?) that they could share?

Ce que tu pourrais faire pour automatiser ta lecture :
Créer un répertoire avec tes chansons dans l'ordre souhaité
Lancer la lecture de ce dossier depuis le JukeBox
Tout est automatisé, mais si tu appuies sur Space pour faire une pause tu sors du mode JukeBox et obligé de le relancer. Demi solution. For the uninitiated in the French language (including myself): What you could do to automate your playback: Create a folder with your songs in the desired order Start playing this folder from the Jukebox Everything is automated, but if you press Space to pause, you exit Jukebox mode and have to restart it. Half-solution.
