It seems that BiaB 2013 on MAC always routes it's audio (realdrums, realtracks etc.) to the MAC's Standard Audio Interface. I try to use BiaB as a Backend for Apple's Mainstage2 and would like have the oppurtunity to route the Audio as a virtual Audio channel to Mainstage2. Has anyone experience. My Tests with Soundflower didn't succeed anyway.

Interesting topic!
The starting point is that Soundflower does its jobs. This should be the setting:
1) on Biab: do nothin
2) on Mac preference panel, set Soundflower 2ch as sound output
3) on Mainstage, preferences, set Soundflower as input source, and create an audio channel strip where the I/O assignment is set to "input 1-2".
The flaw in this setting is imho that you need to go to biab to start the song, you can't do it from mainstage.
It would be interesting to have other opinions about this subject thought...

That worked well, but this causes that my physical analog ports like guitar and mic are unavailable. Can only have one core audio input driver. grrrrrrrr.....

I had a similar problem - trying to route BIAB and the output from Guitar Rig to Quicktime (or PhotoBooth). I can route one thing, but then nothing else works ..
Didn't / couldn't find a solution to the problem. It's either stick an external mic, route that to QT and record the lot together, or do the whole audio in GarageBand, record the video using an external mic for audio as a guide and then replace the guide audio with the GB.

Ok, i made several trials today, and this seems to be the right set-up for making both Biab and an external source playing through Mainstage, on different channels. I used an mp3 player as external source, but assume it works wiht a microphone or a guitar cable too. 1) On Midi Audio Setup: create an aggregate device and check only "integrated input" (i don't remember how exactly it's named on english systems  ) and "soundflower (16 ch)". 2) On Mac preference panel: set both the audio output and input on the aggregate device 3) Open soundflowerbed and check the aggregate device on the soundflower 16ch sub-menu 4) On Mainstage: set the input on the aggregate device, and the output (finally) on the built-in output or your external sound card. At this point you should have Binab outgoing from channels 3-4 of mainstage, and the external source (the mp3 player in my case) outgoing from channels 1-2. I deserve a drink now
