make this an option at the least. its specially of use when using the BIAB DAW plugin as the render times are so long in the plugin compared to standalone

Now that’s a valid point. Regeneration times would be shorter if you had one chorus and I don’t know if the plug-in has the same option to start playback while regeneration is still in progress.
Again, just make the default number of choruses a user setting.

Now that’s a valid point. Regeneration times would be shorter if you had one chorus and I don’t know if the plug-in has the same option to start playback while regeneration is still in progress.
Yes the regeneration time is shorter with one chorus - been there - tried that. No the playback will not start until the entire song is regenerated.
Again, just make the default number of choruses a user setting.

I've gone ahead and added the request to the wishlist for allowing one to manually set the default number of choruses at their leisure. Thanks guys!

Thanks. While we are at it, I suppose those who want to set the default number of choruses to a number other than 3 will also want to set the default number of measures (bar for end of chorus) when opening a new song to something other than 32.

If I were working at PGM I would conduct a little survey. Implementing surveys would be great in general. That way, PG music would be able to evaluate particular wishes, for instance. That shouldn't be too difficult; I've seen this in other forums.

I support the idea. even though it would not really affect me, as I unfold every project into one big chorus, hence giving me control over the "arrangement" of the song.

If one can set the defaults for the number of choruses and for the number of bars, one could choose to speed up the regeneration time considerably when starting a song.
