When I recorded that last few seconds, and the three tracks showed, does the fact that they turned color mean that something was really recorded, or just that the record button was used? When I go back up after dinner I am going to do some real backyard hacking stuff link trying to record with no interface plugged in so I can see the error messages that would happen in that situation.
