It's much easier than you describe.
Open BiaB, load desired file, reduce screen size.
Open your sequencer.
Click on the BiaB track name (e.g. "PIANO")
Drag it into the sequencer track view; new track appears there.
Repeat for more tracks.
This is far more direct than an export followed by re-importing.
It works for PGMusic and Cakewalk seqs. More primitive ones may not accept the drop.
