ASIO, if you really can play like Rachmoninoff, or Glen Gould, and have a masterpiece ready to go, it is probably worth the trouble to get perfect sheet music. Of course that won't happen here. Entering anything into Band in a Box as a melody is a foolhardy exercise IN MY MIND. Note the latter disclaimer. I think I 'm a pretty good guy on keys BUT, I've never entered much that's meaningful into a computer via a keyboard. It's faster to use a mouse. It's partially my fault for throwing in trills, embellishments, little runs and things that are too fast for Band in a Box's notation. That said, the software is to provide the backing band, not be the engraver of perfect sheet music for the Boston Philharmonic, or the Nights of Pythias Concert Band of Primarysville, Iowa. His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
