I'm not a dock spider myself but I've met these guys in a lot of bars. You captured the stereotype well in the lyrics, Ed - Am I to guess that the CD will indeed be titled Ed Bulmer's Dock? It's nice to hear a 'folk' production. IMO I'd like to hear a lead instrument brought forward more in space between choruses and verses. Maybe even add a 1-up harmony on the part of the chorus starting "He's just an old salt etc. to the end of the chorus. Or some such musical peaks/additions as the song progresses to keep surprising the listener. Nice song, good basic mix.
