Music business, politics, finance industry, you name it, is managed and staffed by assholes who are full of their own importance, and stand out primarily by their failures. Who failed to sign the Beatles? An A+R manager, the list is endless. Music is a commodity being raped by the film, advertising, and whatever else type of industry. Jingles are wanted, not music, most of these guys wouldn't know good music if it p***sed on them. They are looking for repeat successes. Like banks, if your idea does't have a proven track record they won't finance you. Sad.
