I thought of this a few weeks ago and am having great fun developing a logical way to work, if that is possible.

I never thought of that. However, there are some drawbacks. First, it's a lot of work. Second, the tracks have to be frozen and, as you mention, you'd have to remember what you did to each track in order to make any changes.

Frozen tracks will, of course, never regenerate and I like the regeneration. It's nice to have slight changes each time you play a song. So I think multiple chord sheets would be a great addition.
