Hello!
I have not posted here in a long time. I picked up BIAB 2013 and am having a lot of fun with it... If there is anyone out there that knows how to chord a song just by listening to it I need some help in this area. I only play by ear and I do not know how to break down a chord progression. I am willing to pay someone to do this if the price is within reason. I have 8 songs and will probably have to do them one at a time due to my income. I will be perfectly clear about something else. I do know that BIAB has an auto chord wizard that I have tried to use. The chord wizard does not seem to get it right that is why I would like to find somebody to break down the chord structure for me; I know that there are a lot of very experienced musicians on here. Hey Trapper,
I'm your man. The only question is: Do I have the time to do this? I'm certainly not asking for money; glad to help out if I can. But, regrettably, no promises.
Here's my suggestion: Post one of your tunes. Do the best you can. Just a melody with rhythm will do. BIAB is different from all other music production programs in that you have to know chord names, harmonic transitions, etc. Get a RealDrums style cooking that captures your groove and play along. I can tell from that whether or not I could be of any help.

Dear Trapper !
I think I misunderstood your purpose as I first thought
that you had problems picking out chord progressions from
tunes by ear (not from any tab) ! I later realized that you
in fact had composed these songs and needed to get someone
to look them over with the aim to eventually enhance your
written chord progressions ? Ok ! If so it could not hurt
if you send one over ! I could at least look it over, if that
suits you ? Naturally I would never charge anything either !

I don't understand.
Why don't you ask the guitarist or keyboard player
what chords they used?

Hi,
IMO in Children of America you only need to change between Asus4 , G and A and D
of course you have to listen to the order of the chords. Towards the end I think
I heard a Gsus4 also ! If you want to add more mystic to the normal chords you can try
g2 g6 A2 and A6 also. Good luck !

If you are a guitarrist, one trick would be to
find the chord on your guitar and then use
f.i. Guitar Chord Finder that can be downloaded
on the net for free ! I have to use it every now
and then and it has been a very helpful tool indeed !

The reason that I dont ask the orignal guitarest is because he moved a long way away and I am not sure where he is at. I lost contact with him about 2 years ago.
