OP milianpa Newbie M Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 13	I've been using Realband for quite sometime and recently it stops working. When I launch it asks me permission to restore the default settings. After configuring the audio driver, it just crashes. I have window7 OS. I'm able to use BIAB. Any help would be appreciated. Willie.

Is the current version the same version you've always been using? 3. Is it installed as c:\Realband or is it something like c:\program files\realband? 4. LynB Veteran L Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 3,161 Barton-on-Sea,Hants,UK	An initial thought - do NOT take the OPTION to "Restore" default settings. To do so means a lot of work remembering and resetting umpteen settings. I never use this option as I prefer to check to see what the original problem may be without having to sort out the Preferences first.

OP milianpa Newbie M Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 13	Thanks, Noel96: 1) my BIAB is 2012 version. 2) Yes, I've been using it for a while, even after I switched to a brand new Windows7 machine (previously on XP) 3) I'm running it from a drive other than C:\, that is G:\RealBand\realband.exe 4) Yes, I installed the last available update. I've been using it for one projects since around July of 2012 and it stopped working around Jan 2013. Hi LynB: Thanks for the suggestion. But if I do not take the option to restore default settings, it just simply stops going any further. Also, I don't know if it's related or not. I notice lately that I need to launch Firefox twice. The first launch would automatically close so I need to launch the second time again. That's been going on for a while now. Windows7 related??? Thanks. M. Last edited by milianpa; 04/25/13 07:33 PM.

Right click bottom task bar Start task manager Choose the process tab See if there's more than one firefox in there If so, you can delete both of them and start fresh. It does not actually delete or remove firefox, it just closes it.

Noel96 Veteran Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 18,952 Australia	Hi milianpa, Have you updated Realband to the latest build found at the link below? http://www.pgmusic.com/support.realband.htm#2012_6 Version 2012's latest update is Build 6.
