About a year ago an Alberta Beef processing plant got it self in trouble with some poor handling processes. It cost and immediate shutdown of the plant and put allot of people out of work while they sorted out the mess and corrected the problems. They have since corrected the problems and things are back to the way they should be. I was thinking of them when putting together this song.

AB Blues

I used:
BB RealBass 387, Bass Electic
BB RealDrums NashvilleEven 8^8
and six of my own tracks. Done with RealBand...

Scott,

I like what you're doing - sounds great - with a "but..."

The mix is good. The track is very "listenable".

You've (sort of) got 4 different "guitar guys" here. IMO, 2 would work better. Love the opening guy. Great tone and very lyrical playing. Then the fuzz guy comes in. Then the Wah guy. Then it's kind of like that first guy comes back, with a bunch of reverb and tries to out-do the fuzz guy and the wah guy. Would be nice if the end were the same guy who played that nice lyrical beginning - kind of "show up" those other guys with "watch what you can do with just a few notes - when you do it right..." Does that makes sense? Hope you are "okay" with this kind of "feedback" - 'cause, like I said... I like what you are doing.

Hi
I really like the blues sound, but maybe it needed a break in the middle and also it gets a bit too busy (complicated?) with all the guitars. They seem to compete rather then enhance each other.

Not criticizing, just sayin'

Thank you I absolutely like this kind of feedback. I have been struggling with my composition. The mix between technical and adding some feeling is been elusive

Hi Scott,

I liked your guitar playing. Very tasteful. It must have taken quite a bit of time to get all this together.

If you were after ideas on how to make this composition sound more authentically like a live performance by a group, floyd's advice is good.

Thanks for sharing your work. It's always good to hear what other do with BIAB/RB.

Kind regards,
Noel

Hi Floyd

I redid the guitar track as per your advice and I like the feel of the new arrangement.

I replace the file on Soundcloud so both links should point to the new file..

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
