I normally use Kontakt as a plug but I think it also runs as a stand alone VST if you wish to use it that way.


Thanks Herb, so when you mention that you "normally use Kontakt as a plug ", you mean Kontakt Player or Kontakt 5 (or both)?


I have the Komplete 6 collection....(yeah, it's an old package now but it still works fine) so it's the version of Kontakt 4 that came with it. I used to have a Kontakt player (the free version they are giving away) but that one stayed on my lappy when I built my DAW. K-6 is on the DAW with the full featured version of Kontakt.
